They have created a platform that facilitates the secure, efficient, and exchange of AI training data within the healthcare and media industry
The opportunity
Base salary $150-$200k - based on experience - plus equity
VISA is not available
Remote Role - Anywhere in the US
The sucessful person must have
- 3+ years of experience of research experience with published papers that have focused on pre- processing data for AI and a masters or PhD degree in a quantitative field from a US College. (economics, statistics, biostatistics, bioinformatics, computer science, or data science)
- You must have been a key contributor to papers and keen to publish
- Research background with hands- on data preprocessing for AI training (e. g. optimizing corpora for model performance).
- Experience working with large unstructured healthcare datasets; healthcare imaging is a plus but not required. You would have healthcare data sets but also data processing for AI so no silod.
- Experience working in academic or quasi- academic environments (e. g. research- focused companies) AND/ OR experience in a startup environment as a data scientist or Researcher type role in AI or ML

The have a significant collection of anonymized patient data including medical images, clinical notes, and lab results. The Applied Researcher bridges the gap between data assets and customers' needs healthcare industry vertical.
You will play a key role in ensuring datasets are well-matched to the AI models that the customers are building and well-understood by those customers. This role requires both healthcare data expertise, extensive experience with statistical analysis, and some customer collaboration
